Ice Cream, er, Friday...

Today's blip is a picture of my house, the light was getting darker and I liked the way the house was silhouetted against the still-bright sky behind it. I have, of course, played around with it on my iPhone again!

I've been on a bit of a history vibe for the last couple of days thinking about Dundee's past (See yesterday's blip...) so I should probably add a bit of history of my house as a background to this image. At one time the ground floor (actually a separate flat now, not owned by me) used to be an ice cream shop, my house above was actually the shopkeepers house and attic. The location out the back where I took this photo used to be another out building where they made the ice cream.

The deeds of the house date back to 1898 so the house is over 100 years old, it's nice to have a house with a bit of history to it :)
