Arthur

Seemed apt for Friday 13th. Apparently black dogs can be a bad omen also.

Arthur was laying on the bed. Not Usually Allowed. But he looked sweet so I took a photograph before sending him back to his bed.

Notice how his spine is so flexible that his back legs can easily overlap the front. This is one of the biggest secrets of the greyhounds speed. His spine flexes even more than this when he runs. Not that he runs much nowadays. He is retired. Can only run, muzzled, in certain strictly enclosed spaces or else he may mistake some somebody's yorkshire terrier for a rabbit.

He'd LOVE to catch one of the neighbourhood cats. It's the only time we see him really really animated.
