Another train journey - more reading
Today saw me "pop up" to London to the JISC offices for a meeting and then scamper back across London to catch the earliest possible train back to Cardiff. I wanted to do this because Gail & Martin with James & Tom were arriving for the weekend on their way back to Leeds.
What do you do on a train journey - well the pattern for me is preparatory reading on the way up and catch-up reading on the way back. It's strange - I have my iPod with me but I never want to listen to it when it's a work journey. No reason, just habit. Probably due to the fact I've been doing these journeys since before iPods were even thought of and CD-Players or Walkman (remember them?) were never my "cup of tea".
So I took this photo of my return journey reading. All documents associated with my JISC role/life. A new colour brochure for the JISC Services, a user satisfaction survey for the UK Access Management federation and a draft of an ICT Strategy Toolkit. Happy reading :-)
