Gardener

This old man's work is as important as that of any other in the University . He is also serving the nation like us but in his own capacity and orbit. He may not be aware of his role and contribution in beautifying the Country/University but his work of trimming and cutting grass makes our eyes appraise the beauty and landscape.

We usually do not see or do not want to see the man behind the scythe but it is he that creates a balance between our surroundings and our working environment.

We, the teachers, claim that we build the University image in terms of quality of education in people's eyes but he makes the first impression of visitors long lasting and the departments noteworthy & eye catching.

Such gardeners are under paid or hired on daily wage basis. They have the only advantage of taking cut grass with them for their animals as fodder.
