Helping the environment

Today I join with my friend Doug learned a group of 9 to 12-year-olds from Dartmouth Mass. while they help clean up the beach at Allens pond Massachusetts Audubon refuge in Westport, Massachusetts. These boys and girls all got together and decided they want to do something for the environment and from what they called the Green Group, one of the parents is helping as a coordinator. Besides cleaning up trash that people left on the beach they also were learning about the environment and natural things that occur on a beach. It was very nice to see youngsters involved in stewardship, getting out to enjoy the environment and nature rather than sitting in front of a television.
