Perseid Meteor Shower.....

Wow.... check them out on my phone camera.

I remember some years ago trying to video the Perseids from Portobello beach using an old 8mm video camera. The Perseid shower was pretty good that year. Unfortunately the video camera wasn't...... On playing back the tape we were welcomed by a completely black screen accompanied by a soundtrack of Oooooh's and Ahhhhh's.......

I might pop out later for a proper look if the sky clears up a bit but I'm down Newhaven way this evening so the city lights may get in the way.

I've popped a proper camera in the bag just in case :-)
