Driver Dave

Driver Dave was today accompanied by the guardman, who goes by the name of David. They both crewed the hourly trip along the Teifi Valley Railway.

It's a short journey along the tree-lined route of the railway to a stop and back again. But here I managed to capture him mid-conversation with an older lady who's uncle was station master, here at Henllan in 1911. It was a brief conversation as he had to attend to re-locating his engine to the rear of the train for the next outward journey.
