Barrel

Another not very inspiring Blip...

It's of a few reeds around this old half a barrel that my Mum turned into a pond, I took a few more photos around my garden but none of them were very good... Here is an explanation of my day, to show why I haven't produced any better photos...

Met my Mum at Rob's work (I stayed over his last night) and she gave me a lift home, I then talked to my friend Emily and we agreed to meet in Norwich. I got to Norwich about 2 where I met Emily and Norkie (not his real name but I'm not allowed to say it, for reasons I won't go into now...).

I should really have made more of an effort to take some photos in Norwich but I never really found anything inspiring, until I was on my way to catch the bus... It had just started raining, the sky was dark grey and I was walking down a crowded street with buildings at the end. The effect of the buildings against the dark sky was quite dramatic, and I was so tempted to stop and take a photo... However, I was already late for my bus and the enxt one wasn't for another hour and a half... (Of course, Sod's Law the bus was 10 minutes late and I would've had time...)

On the bus I rang my Dad, and told him that I would get to the bus stop at 4:45, he wasn't at home but he promised to ring my Mum and tell her so she could pick me up, but he forgot. Nice.

So I stood at the bus stop for 15 minutes before realising my Mum wasn't going to turn up (I couldn't ring her because, as per usual, her phone was switched off). I then started the walk back, with my feet in agony (new shoes, beautiful, but very painful), only to get home and discover that no one was there and, after checking the back and front doors, that I was locked out.

I then sat down to wait for someone to come back, and decided it would be a good opportunity to find a Blip... So, I wasn't particularly inspired by anything outside my front door, but this was the best I could come up with...

(It turned out that the door that leads into my parent's office was in fact open, I had already been sitting outside for half an hour, and was not best pleased...)

So that was my day, I've come to the conclusion that even if no one actually reads my blogs, it will be a good thing to look back on in the future...

Night, Blip...

I AM AWAY FOR THE NEXT WEEK, SO UNLESS I MAGICALLY FIND INTERNET I WILL UPDATE ALL NEXT SATURDAY OR SUNDAY.
