What a day (at last!!!)
After having our seaplane flight cancelled 3 times we managed, 2 years later, to get our return flight to Oban.
For the first time this week our weather was perfect for a very memorable flight.
The little seaplane ( It can take 9 passengers) takes off from the river Clyde and flies across some of the most spectacular scenery and lands at a jetty in the bay at Oban.
We then had a boat ride to the mainland and had a couple of hours in Oban. Nice lunch and a stroll around the town.
Then after a bike taxi round to the jetty we waited on the boat to take us over to the seaplane jetty in the bay.
A great adventure and a fabulous gift from all my colleagues at school for my retirement.
This is just one of the fabulous views we got flying out of Oban.
Isn't Scotland great!!!!
