Snake

I don't want to become a bridge bore, but I just couldn't resist posting this image today.

I had a couple of average blips in the can already, but I was wandering around killing time with my camera before catching my train home from Bristol when I went underneath a bridge that is already pretty photogenic from above.

And I discovered it was just as stunning down there, with its grand sweeping curve like a metal snake weaving its way across the river.

As luck would have it, a rower came along just as I was pressing the shutter release, adding that important human element to bring the image to life.

Not sure what I had done today to deserve that!
