Blooms at midnight...

Another late night blip for me tonight... my wife was outside watering our new plants and called me out because spotted a baby preying mantis. It was awesome, but the little bugger wouldn't hold still for a shot. I still haven't gotten around to getting a macro lens anyway. Instead I started shooting our flowers by lighting them up with our mag light... I love they way the colors came through!

SHOT NOTES: I didn't boost saturation in post... I swear! Just a bit of cropping and auto adjusted levels.
