Shades of Rodin

Rodin has got to be one of my favorite artists when it comes to sculpting. Although this is not a Rodin sculpture it for some reason reminds me of The Danaid which is one of my favorite pieces. The two are completely different subjects but something in this sculpture represents for me, the same desperation as the Andromeda myth.
