Pentland adventure

I got out on my mountain bike this morning - from Carlops over to Bavelaw and back via Nine mile burn. The climbs were particularly difficult (technically) but the downhills were great fun. The weather was nice but I traipsed through a lot of mud (and cowshit) and my bike was badly in need of a wash when I got back.

I met these ponies near the start, they fluttered their eyelashes at me and nuzzled my elbow but I had nothing for them.
