Big Day With Great White Sharks!

R took me in to Gansbaii early to do something I had really wanted to do... dive with the Great White Shark!

We set off on the boat and got to the site in which we were to dive!

I was in the first group to go in to the cage and it took a few minutes for the sharks to appear and when they did they were beauts! We were lucky to see 3 or 4 of the beautiful creatures all males. Although vis in general was not great only about 5 - 10 metres (an excuse to go again!)

When the group I was in was back on the boat, I had only been back on board a few minutes and I was leaning over the other side to where the cage was feeding the fish! I'm not sure why after all these years I have suddenly started getting sea sick but i'm not impressed!

The good news for the 2nd group is they had a great display by the sharks... not sure if I helped or not ;-)
