Tortoiseshell

The butterflies are struggling in the strong breezes of the last couple of days. Usually at this time the buddleia (see yesterday's blip) is full of their flutterings, but there were none today when I was inspecting the results of yesterday's Big Gardening. This little guy was sheltering in the lee of the fuschia bush, holding on to the wall whilst he warmed his wings.
