Red in the Rain

They look very beautiful when it rains
don't they?

We went to a nearby playground
and I laid her down in a cradle swing
and she giggled at the rain.

Afterwards we sat on a wet bench
she looked at the birds
and the dogs walking past with their owners,
fascinated.

Now she sleeps
after her adventures.
