Mount Torlesse from South

Most of the views of Mount Torlesse that I have posted have been taken from the east. This view is more to the south. From here the Amphitheatre and the Back Peak are obscured by the Rubicon peak, and we get a side view of Otarama.

This is as close as the Highway comes to the mountain. It is strange, but the closer you get the lower the mountain appears in a photograph. It doesn't seem at all low when you are up there. The peaks are around 6450 feet.
