Macro madness

My sad attempt at a macro. Its a flower bud in my garden.
This months photography club independent project is macro photography. So far I am unsuccessful 3 days in a row. I think I'll try a different lens tomorrow. Maybe I'll even use the tripod to see if I can improve the clarity. haha

I like the process more than the outcome. Its interesting to walk around the house looking for something of interest on such a small scale. So...I'll work on the technique a little more.
