The Rattenfanger.

Another busy day with back blips more on my mind than current ones so I went for another 'in house' option.

My son has now returned from his 4 year posting in Germany for the last time. This statue was presented to him as a leaving gift by the Corporal's mess.
It is of course the Pied Piper or Rattenfanger as the Germans call him, as he was stationed in Hameln or Hamlin which is a truly delightful little town especially at Christmas when they have the Weinachs Markt.

Must get out and do something different tomorrow!
