Edinburgh Military Tattoo in Glasgow

I thought I would catch one of the pipe bands in George Square at lunch time today again. However I got quite a surprise to find that the bands performing at this year's Tattoo were through for the day.

There was a similar event last year which had lots of publicity as it was a 'Homecoming' event but I hadn't heard anything about them coming today.

What a bonus! They looked and sounded marvellous as they marched round the Square. I got quite a few pictures but as I had particularly liked the Pipes and Drums of the Military Band of the Royal Jordan Arab Army from Amman, and as 3 of them were kind enough to pose for me, I had to make this my picture of the day.
