There It Is!

I knew I had a canoe around here somewhere.

I bought it pre-dented about 40 years ago, from a boat rental place that was going out of business. It's a 17-foot Grumman, weighing about 90 pounds, with a rated safe load of 900 pounds. You can camp in luxury with all the stuff it'll carry. I once did a 1.25 mile portage with it on my back, but that was a long time ago. I'm not sure if I can get it on top of the car without help now.

I'd better get to work on those paddles -- summer will soon be over.
