West Side View--NYC

This blip is from our apartment in New York City, which has just been vacated by long-term tenants. The view is a little south of east along West 97th Street; the trees just over the buildings on the left (to the left of the church) are in Central Park and the buildings beyond start on 5th Avenue.

The apartment is on the 11th floor, facing south; the balconies on the left belong to others--we don't have one. In September we plan to move here for the next few months. We are selling our Northampton condominium to our condo-mates below us, who want to expand into the rest of the house to provide more room for their growing family. They have also bought a small house in back of the property which we plan to rent after they renovate it (by the spring, hopefully). I'll provide more details in the weeks and months to come.
