All tied up

It's only five weeks since the beginning of a new school term, and over the last two weeks I have watched, but sadly, not recorded, the demise of this new school tie. At first it was lying discarded on the pavement, then moved onto a wall, then a gatepost, then its final resting place, this lampost. If you look carefully, you will see holes, where dogs have tried to release it and scorch marks, which I assume to be a statement of protest from fellow school tie wearers! Before something terminal befalls it, I thought I ought to capture the image for all time!
