Stone gatepost at entry to Norah Fry Research Centre at Bristol University. Damaged by a truck but meticulously repaired by a solo stone Mason named Martin. A joy to watch the care re-use of old stone, minimal new stone and careful rebuild of creeper damaged wall.
And a big well done to Bristol University Estates department for commissioning a quality contractor and for intelligently doing the job a bit further than was at first obvious.

Martin said these Walls were roughly made with a few fine details at the front. Pleasingly he restored the diamonds under the cap stone by hand And now I notice the same detail under the soffit at 3 Priory Rd.
