Still Trying

To photograph some still life "poses" suitable for painting later. An artist friend does this using natural light and then uses the photos to produce exquisitely detailed paintings.

Never mind the painting, the photographing turns out not to be so simple as I thought. For example berries and bowl arranged the night before and refrigerated lose all their gleam in the morning light because of condensation from the humidity.
