Summit
Took us almost until lunch time to get everyone ready to go out today, but the weather was good, and we set off with a rough plan to do a lap of the TT course. First stop was Jurby Junk (less said about that the better) and I made a quick get-away from there and ran along the beach to the Ayres where we were to meet for lunch. The weather was so much better today, but clouded over as we settled down for lunch, and a chill wind kept us out of the sea.
Then walked on to the Point of Ayre alond the beach as two of us drove to pick up at the other end. This is where I realised I had left the memory card for my camera at home :(
Chips for tea in Ramsey, then onwards up the TT mountain road to the BUngalow and we walk the mile or so up the steep path to the summit of Snaefell, at 2000 feet, the only mountain on the Isle of Man. We were hopefull of clear views at the top, but those pesky clouds came over again. Anyway, whilst at the top I got this picture using Joe's phone. To end a lovely day we took the scenic route home over the mountains.
