A Message in a Bottle ( well a Balloon actually)

I remember doing this a few times as a child. Putting a tag with my address written on it on a helium balloon and then letting it go to see how far it went.

The note would read something like

'If you find this Balloon please send me a postcard and tell me know where you found it'

My kids have had 4 balloons given to them over the past couple of weeks and we decided to put a message on a balloon and let it go.

My daughter wrote a note and we tied it to all 4 balloons and let it go this morning. We thought 4 balloons tied together would carry the message further.

Actually the 4 balloons flew into next doors garden and got tangled in their washing line.

The balloon did untangle itself and slowly climb into the sky. Watch this space, you never know...
