2 birds with one blip

I only cropped this. I was out fairly early to get a blip walk in before The Sunday Morning Phone Call to Mother, and not far along the road to the Dalmeny estate I saw the heron. By the time I'd got the camera out, fired up, and pointed in the right direction, I saw there were two birds and thought maybe it was a baby heron (are there such things, or are they like pigeons and appear only as adults?) but then the little one turned its head.
