Himalayan Balsam
After yesterdays hours of stomping round the steam rally my day today has been somewhat quieter. I did wander into town this morning, got a case for my laptop, a filter adapter and an ND8 grad in the hope that I'll be taking some landscape stuff sometime.
On the way home I got off the bus a few stops early and walked back via a park through which the 'river' Chelt runs. Ok, it is called a river but more like a stream except for a few years ago when it flooded and was actually rather impressive. I knew that along the banks this stuff grows - hated by many and ripped up whenever possible I gather. As it turns out there wasn't much this year and the best bits were on the other side so I made do with a few rather scabby bits.
The rest of my day has mostly been spent finally cutting the grass and making a start on chopping back a shrub which is getting in the way of the garage back door. Not finished yet but good progress has been made......
