Well there was 17 hours of my life. I got up 5 A.M. and got home around 10 P.M. Assuming I live to be 75 years old (the national average for males) that was a very small percentage of my life, but still, the trip itself wasn't very useful. That comment does not in any way apply to the Tenement Museum itself, which I found very engaging and informative. It applies to the fact that we drove about 5 hours each way so half of the Junior class could see a good museum, while the other half could go on an (from the descriptions of others) unsatisfactory walking tour. We then went shopping, which did provide some interesting street photography options for me, even in the horrible cloudy light. Come to think of it, we did get in some good movies on the bus ride, too. Hey, maybe it wasn't so much of a waste.
