Cabbage Rolls

There has been a conference at the base for the past three days. The students have been in charge of the kitchen. I've had a great time learning how to cook Thai food, practicing the Thai I know, and listening as they chatter to one another. The assembly line we had going to get 150 plates, bowls, spoons, forks, cups, and all the cooking utensils washed was amazing.

Each person had their own job in making these cabbage rolls as well. One person parboiling the cabbage, another preparing the pork filling, another stuffing the cabbage leaves, and my job was to tie them closed with a cilantro like vegetable. I would guess they were quite delicious because there were none left at the end of the meal.
