Pep Rally

This event, which may be called by some "Pep Rally," was the culmination of a glorious Spirit Week. On Monday, we juniors were gone, but I'm sure the rest of the school wore their best pajamas. On Tuesday, many of us dressed like complete idiots... on purpose this time. On Wednesday, twins, and even a few triplets, roamed the school. Thursday brought Pep Rally. The day started as all normal days did, with the exception of compressed second and third periods. After lunch, however, things began to get strange. We had a particularly unruly and unproductive class meeting, which, despite an utter lack of decorum, resulted in a finished, practiced chant. We were told to go to the second floor, and did so, only to find a crowd of angry-looking, jumping seniors clad in black and khaki. Almost immediately, the entire floor turned into something of a mosh pit, with people jumping, climbing on chairs, tables, and people, and crowd-surfing. After several yelled exchanges between the classes, teachers wielding fearsome megaphones subdued the chaos. I am told the same general thing occurred on the third floor with freshmen and sophomores. Look on the bright side, riots make good pictures.
