Had a good day today especially catching up with a friend I haven't seen for nearly two years who popped by for a flying visit.

Later on my husband and I took a walk down to the shore where we spotted this bird. I'm so used to only seeing ducks and swans and the occassional heron but I'm not quite sure what this one is?

We stopped at the Cameo Bar for a lovely early dinner before heading home again.
