choosing projects

I used to make them bibs and school clothes - no more!
they wear denim and t-shirts now, Grandma!

so we spent time this visit looking a fabric and discussing patterns.
Concensus: I get to make jackets out of these blankets - they passed the softness test with flying colors!
and puppy quilts for their bedroom.

this day we also celebrated their 16 year old cousin's b-day. having the cousins get to know eachother was such a delight! they took home fond memories of what fun they had playing one-armed ninja.
