Post Birthday Party

This is an example how photography engages everyone. We were checking out one of the rules I had found out about recently, that the eye travels from left to right and so should the photo. Because Picasa cannot perform this simple operation of turning the image around, I was demonstrating it on a print, looking at a picture from the other side against the light.

The party continued long after kids' bedtime. Lots of food left, which I hope means everybody was full, rather than that they didn't like it. I am quietly pleased that some of the experimental Nutella hazelnut no flour cake is also left.
