Game Boy

Continuing the tech / gadget blips again, this time with a close up macro shot of my old Nintendo Game Boy. Taking it a stage further from yesterday's 'Game & Watch' blip in that the Game Boy will play multiple games via cartridges, however, it's still pretty low -tech in that there was no saving of games - if you were playing Super Mario and got called away for tea or had to go to bed you'd either have to leave it switched on or sacrifice all that effort and then start again the next day!

As old as this gadget is and even though it's in a household surrounded by iPods, iPhones, a DSi, a Wii, PS3 etc it still gets played with every so often (my wife is pretty awesome at Super Mario actually).

The astute may notice that this photo is actually a genuine macro shot rather than a post-processed image like I took yesterday ;)
