the way to poetry

This is the newish independent bookshop along the road from me - my favourite little corner of it in fact, containing poetry, philosophy, art, drama, photography and music. i hope this place lasts longer than the usual indie bookshop in Bath. I fear for it a little, since it's about a hundred yards from the enormous Waterstones branch, and makes no attempt to compete on price. What it does offer is a fab schedule of author events - Alan Bennett, Ian Rankin, Michael Palin etc - and a friendly staff who know what they're talking about. Go in to browse and you're likely to be offered tea, or coffee, or even a glass of wine. Good luck to them :)
