One lamp, 2 kilos potatoes

Skibbereen market this morning, a mixed bag of weather, we were buffeted by winds, the odd shower but in the end the sun prevailed.

I wandered around the stalls and was amused by this fine gentleman. Wearing a fine pair of 'sneekers' with bright blue laces and showcasing his wares. Why did he decide that today was the day that he was finally going sell the lamp and what better to show it off than 2 kilos of his best spuds?

I must endeavour to take some more portraits, I am a little nervous about aiming my camera at people but am inspired by the street portraits Ingunn takes.
