Mela Saturday

We popped to Mela today. Have to admit I wasn't sure at first but am really glad we went. Had a lovely day and saw some really interesting things/people. Had some gorgeous curry and chips (yes I'm a philistine...), saw some bands playing and watched people buying saris, perfume, jewelery and shoes. Was really interesting and had such a mix of different people. Was excellent and I'd really recommend it. :D

This is a shot of Hannah Scott, a really excellent singing who was performing at Mela. I'm really keen to get a CD of her work. The photo itself isn't great, but I love the fact that it wasn't til after I took it and was looking at it that I saw Acronymphomania in the background taking his 'press pass' shot. ;)

Came home and had an absolutely lush dinner of Mediterranean chicken and potatoes and ice cream and raspberries for dessert. Yum! Now watching Dawn of the Dead and waiting for the fireworks at midnight. :)
