VBS Door Decoration

Okay, so yesterday I posted a picture of some of what we did to prepare for VBS. VBS stands for Vacation Bible School. It's held for two weeks at my church and this year's theme is Baobab Blast...aka a Safari Adventure! We sing songs with the kids, play games, make crafts and just hang out for three hours a day. The whole camp is run by volunteers and it's seriously one of my favorite parts of each summer.

Today was decorating day for Week 2 of VBS and this is what our door ended up looking like! I'm so proud of it and I think it came out amazing thanks to some help from Maria's and my teacher aids.

I also drew an elephant and a lion and zebra that will watch over our classroom. The TA's colored them in and I think they came out pretty darn awesome as well!

Jillybean is gonna sleep over tonight, which I was excited about, but now I'm not so sure since she's being crabby..

Can't wait for VBS to start Monday!
