Southern Damselfly

Was helping my mum with some weeding at their building plot/dump & a glint of brilliant blue caught my eye, was most pleased I had the camera in the car & most grateful he hang around long enough for me to get a half decent shot!

No idea what the dead plant he is perched on is though?
