Pride Liverpool

Very colourful parade up Castle Street towards the Town Hall today. I liked this photo because I never really look at the building in the background although I often go in the Cafe Nero in it. There is also a festival of street theatre down at the Pier Head over the weekend which I might blip tomorrow. Had lunch sitting on a wall with some friends while we tried to understand why the Council had allowed a ranting religious group to make speeches condemning gay lifestyles while the parade was on - nobody was paying much attention to them but they needed a strong police presence.
