River Chenab

River Chenab is famous in east for folk love stroy of Sohni Mahiwal where Sohni (the girl) died by drowning into river in a try to reach Mahiwal (the boy) by using earthern pitcher. Mahiwal on the other side jumped and drowned as well.
Doesn't it look like Romeo and Julliet (just the way of death is different). Maybe all famous love stories should have tragic end to be famous.

P.S: I live on the bank of Chenab river in Gujrat (hometown of Sohni) so walking alongwith river while thinking that would Sohni still be famous if she could cross the river safely.
