Our town
T and I discovered an old Playskool Village set my Mom had given to me. I believe it was her family's and has to be at least 40 years old. It had been in T's closet and when he asked me to get it down I thought it would be the old wooden train set (also from her childhood) that is in a similar box.
We had so much fun setting up the little houses, finding all the trees and tiny wooden cars and trucks. Imaginative play is still T's favorite, over TV or video games, and I am thankful for that. All of that can be so limiting, but, your imagination knows no bounds.
T had an odd snack after school of left over, cold macaroni and cheese and a coconut popsicle. I said to him: Are you eating those together? He said: I chew a bite of popsicle, then a bite of macaroni. There aren't in my mouth at the same time! Ha ha...ew
