Doorstep

I was hoping I might capture coming home on Friday night after a long week at work. Something to symbolise the comfort, familiarity and the sigh of another week gone.

This is my doorstep, a bit overgrown, in need of attention but soft and familiar. A natural cushion under my feet as I walk through the front door. Home.
