Mr. Magic

Victor is one of my best Spanish friends; we have a blood-brother bond having come through thick and thin studying together last August when we both successfully obtained the Cambridge University Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA), which just happens to be the course that Digitaldaze leads for a living!

As well as being a truly inspirational and creative teacher, Victor is a wizard at magic and so captivates and delights his audience that they/we all become children again, being so amazed and astonished that we can only gasp, clap and scream out loud!

We met for a first course anniversary lunch today dining on the most tender and delicious Argentinian entrecote, washed down with a very fine house Rioja, and then it was into the narrow alley outside in the Barrio Gotico where Victor demonstrated his latest magical work with coins (US half dollars!), while I took a few shots.

I liked this one best because Victor has a very proud Spanish, almost toreador, stance and look in it. I know he will look in here tonight, so 'Thanks, Victor', and I hope you like el retrato (portrait).
