keep clear!

It occurs to me that this tiny square of surface is where we:

*make the toast
*eat cereal
*dish up the grub on the plates, (I need to buy some sort of tiny gong to "come and get it")
*tune the radio to a better station
*recharge my phone
*recharge the batteries for the Wii remote (very important)
*make pizza dough
*whizz-up home made soup
*write notes for the calender
*use the laptop when in the kitchen
*make the packed lunch for school
*drink coffee
*empty the shopping bag
*throw the tea-towels
*fill with used glasses and crockery after the meal

am i living in a box or forced into a corner?
