Bricks & Mortar

Three shots were in contention for today's blip and I had a hell of time deciding which one to present. Even my wife, who is usually the final arbiter when it comes to my indecision, found difficulty in settling on a favourite, although she did narrow the choice down to two.

Both were retakes of shots taken earlier in the week but what I had thought would have been the obvious choice did not turn out as well as expected. I was shooting in macro mode and the breeze kept blowing the subject in and out of focus. Maybe better luck tomorrow.

Matters are not helped by restricting myself to photographing within a 400-yard radius of my house because of the heat and humidity. Such is life.

So, I am afraid this shot of brick steps is the best I can offer. I think it has some merits but then I would say that, wouldn't I? :-)
