Auctioning.

I've recently begun volunteering at the Youth Museum in my town, mostly to have time when I'm expected to leave my house during this unemployed period in my life, but also to get some museum experience, since that's part of what I want to do with my life.

They're getting ready for a big fundraiser auction, so my time there so far has been spent organizing books, putting numbered stickers on picture frames, and talking with this very nice retired woman who's on the museum board. She used to teach with my older sister, and today she gave me a job listing at a museum in the state and told me that if I need a reference, I could put her down. It was sweet.
