Union Jack

Its such a treat when you take a photo and then you realise what you've captured - in this instance its the Union Jack. Today's cultural excursion took us to Roche Court and we were trampling over Paloma Gormley and Lettice Drake's Bench 1 (scroll down to Practice Architecture), a small amphitheatre made of old scaffolding boards, when I spotted an interesting pattern...


Another pattern I didn't see at first was Matthew Holroyd's naval rope in his England Expects installation.

I thoroughly recommend this small sculpture park as its got a fantastic collection of artists, including Barbara Hepworth, Anthony Gormley, Richard Long, Henry Moore....
